HNS Velos

The destroyer HNS Velos berthed in Faliron. Originally USS Charrette (DD-581) built in 1942 she was transferred to the Hellenic Navy in 1959. In 1994 the ship was declared a 'Museum of the Struggle against the Dictatorship'.
